Courses offers 2 (two) course types, traditional and hybrid (also known as Blended or HeartCode).

  • Traditional: Students participate in the class at our facility located at 28551 Southfield Rd, Suite 202, Lathrup Village, MI 48076. All materials are covered in the class, and all hands-on skills are practiced ensuring competency. Students also take their test (if applicable) on site. Once students complete all requirements, they will receive their completion card.
  • Hybrid: Also knon as Blended or HeartCode. Students purchase access to online modules from the American Heart Association website. The student will complete the modules at their own pace and take their exam online. Once completed, a certificate will be generated. Students must bring their certificate with them to their skills session. In the skills session students will enssure competency of the practical portion.

HeartSaver First Aid/CPR/AED

  • Availability: Traditional
  • HeartSaver First Aid CPR AED is geared towards anyone with little or no mdeical training who needs a course completion card for their job, regulatory (e.g. O.S.H.A.), or other requirements or anyone who wants to be prepared for an emergency in any setting. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.

HeartSaver Bloodborne Pathogens

  • Availability: Traditional
  • The HeartSaver Bloodborne Pathogens course is designed specifically for workers with a reasonable chance of coming into contact with bloodborne pathones such as correctional officers, childcare workers, security guards, maintenance wokers, school personnel, hotel housekeepers, health and fitness club staff and tatto artists.

Basic Life Support for Healthcare Workers

  • Availability: Traditional & Heartcode (Hybrid)
  • BLS is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMTs, paramedics, firefighters, and in-facility hospital providers. The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support

  • Availability: Traditional & HeartCode (Hybrid)
  • The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of preventing cardiac arrest, early and continuous high-quality CPR, and high-performing teams.
