Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers

This course is offered in both Traditional (in-person) and HeartCode (hybrid) versions. Basic Life Support is geared towards prehospital providers, like EMT’s, paramedics, firefighters, and in-facility hospital providers. The A.H.A’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. The BLS course reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years.
